Koksa Eiendom has hired Topic to design two proposals for developing the Koksa area on Fornebu as part of a parallel assignment.
On request, we have developed two alternatives: a first with predominantly houses and a second with predominantly offices.
Also on request, both solutions have a higher density than today's regulation allows while otherwise following overall guidelines.
One of the bigger challenges is a large metro station that runs diagonally underneath the site. Good access to and from the station and the mechanical workshops are an important premise for the design. In both proposals, parking is solved underground to maximize public and green space on surface level.
